I used this deck in Master Duel during the current high power format of Snake-Eyes and Blue-Eyes. First deck I made it to Master as I normally use more rouge and casual decks and I am not really good at Yu-Gi-Oh. I just wanted to see if I could make it to Master rank and this deck seemed fun to play so I tried and did it.
Two S:P Little Knight comes up a lot in grind games which happens often with this deck.
Using three Tour Guide From the Underworld, three Sangan and one Witch of the Black Forest as you really want to search Maxx "C" or another hand trap.
Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer is really good in grind games and give you another disruption on every turn. I tried Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon for a few games, but it got dealt with easily with Triple Tactics Talent or Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis so it does not work as well as DPE even though DPE gets dealt with with Bystials and Called by the Grave. I choose not to play Fiendsmith as I thought it summons too many times in a format with Maxx "C". Also Fiendsmith took up too much space in the main deck and extra deck. Even with these weaknesses Fiendsmith is most likely better, I just had more fun with DPE.
All three charmers comes up and dark and light give you a way to summon S:P Little Knight with the Bystials. Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze is there for the fire decks.
The Bystials are great in the grind game. Playing two Branded Regained is needed as it gets removed in a lot of games. Also it is not bad to draw it with a Bystial in hand. The one Branded Beast helped give the extra push to stop people from playing through all your disruptions and really helps if they deal with Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer.
I am very happy with my choice in hand traps as they worked very well for me. Nibiru, the Primal Being and Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion came up way more often than I thought they would and saved me in many games. Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit and Effect Veiler are needed for the Bystials and I even normal summoned them in a more games than I would like to say. They also performed very well and saved me in many games just like the other hand traps. I did not use Infinite Impermanence as you will often have Bystials on the field and Dominus Impulse and Dominus Purge don't mix well with all the other hand traps I use. I considered Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill and D.D. Crow but never tried them out.
Overall the deck was fun the play in what I think is a very bad format. It was fun choosing what to use your disruptions on. Also it is really fun against another Bystial control deck or a mid-range deck like Blue-Eyes as there is a good back and forth that happens. Against the combo decks they either combo through your disruptions or quit the game on a weak board. It would be nice if there come be a good back and forth against combo decks, it is what makes it a bad format though playing this deck I still had fun even when playing the crazy combo decks.
I am sure there a ways to improve the deck so have fun and comment the changes you made with your results or just your results if you did not make any changes.
