it basically means that when a monster is special summoned via it's own effect for exampe the virtual world monsters, drytron or nibiru or another monsters effect for example scyllia summoned off scorpio you can activate the effect to banish every card on the field with the same type

If VFD's effect resolves successfully, even if it is removed later on in the turn, it doesn't matter. Its effect will last until the end of that turn regardless of where it goes, as long as it resolves.
