Would no-tribute normal monster be good enough?

I've been deckbuilding a bunch lately and had a weird thought maybe, but I wonder how meta viable it would be if normal monsters didn't require tribute to summon?  Blue-Eyes White Dragon could crash over a lot of disruptions, dodges negates/hand traps, and then decks could combo in MP2.  I don't think it would be meta shaking or anything, but might be a fun way to at least see a few normals being played and get use out of them for the fact that they won't trigger interactions.

Tbh in modern yugioh i doubt making Blue-Eyes require no tributes will be meta shaking(technicaly with the new support you can get Blue-Eyes on the field with any normal summon of the deck) but i dont think this is the way to make them viable , what Konami is doing with normal monsters is kinda working(making them a Brick needed for strong combos like Sunseed Genius Loci ) Also Pacifis, the Phantasm City uses has good interaction with normal monsters, they are not top tier decks but they are good enough to see play here and there.

That doesn't really matter since no card is better or worse than any other card in Yu-Gi-Oh. Just share you heart with you opponent. Plus, you can always include other cards and wait to normal summon Blue-Eyes.
